Default Skippy

Taken the other morning, do not know who was colder at minus 5 degree's, hardly his normal operating temperature, he is a old one who has been discarded from the herd.

Looks like a big boy, Lee. How tall is he? 5 degrees??!! Celsius, right? Still, 40F is downright chilly.

He would be over 6 foot, ........yes Celsius....we are approaching winter here

Unfortunately I will find him dead in a few months, curse of death when they are discarded from the pack.

I live on 900 acres in rural New South Wales very close to Australian Capital Territory border and I have seen this occur often.

As a Pom living in Australia I find them to be magnificent and unique animals, I love them and never tire of observing them, to the average Australian they are a pest, breaking fences, menace on the roads etc...

Thanks for posting these.

Why would he die from being outside the pack? Lack of protection from predators?

Nice shots Lee,
My question also Ted, is it a predator issue when they are alone or just old and know it's their time. My wife keeps putting me out on the curb but I keep telling her it's not my time yet. Way to anxious : )

Eric, this might be a good time to investigate whether she has a large insurance policy out on you. 8-)

Nice shots Lee, thanks for posting and for the information. We wish the kangaroo good luck. By the way, what is a "Pom" that you call yourself?

P.S. to Eric: LOL.

From our viewpoint, an enemy-of-the-state like Ken. (I.e. a Brit)
