Default Merganser

I was out for my Sunday morning walk and saw this guy.
There were 3 of them and he was the only one which did not
fly away when they saw me.
Must of wanted his picture taken

I like that pic quiet a bit.. and that bird seems to have a fair bit of character , just sitting and posing for you like that. The colours look great .. !

Really good, Fred. Sharp, and the lighting provides shadow detail. "I don't care if I'm having a bad hair day, I'm still good-looking."

Nice shot indeed. I've never had much luck with Mergansers. BTW, it's a female. Might explain the desire for attention
