Default ...another day that I saw the sunrise, yea!

I am always so happy to awaken in the morning, as usual I made sure on this morning then hopped about to get to a new city park I'd not seen.

The reward was a sunflower field that with the early sunlight on this morning was glowing with color and buzzing with critters.

The past 6-months I pretty much have used only the PEN E-P3 and with my FT lenses; the results have been really good. But for this outing I took the E-3 off the shelf and with the 70-300, 35mm and 9-18 had a pretty good morning. All the images were done using manual mode exposures & most with the 70-300

I am going back with my E-300 before all that color disappears.............

....from the 35mm MACRO

Really beautiful pictures Bob.
Seems to have been a very beautiful day there.

Really nice captures there, Bob. Very colorful and well done. Looks like you should take the E-3 out more often.

....thanks for the comments Lordje, Steven & Ted.

It is now so hot (108F for today) that sunflowers are pretty much the wildflower of the month around here.

I plan to revisit this field with the E-300 (if I can get there before 1000 hrs).

Great shots Bob, it is nice waking up to the world around you when you're retired. Gives you a whole different take on things, I'm beginning to like it and only been retired for 4 months.
