Default Posing Chickadee

Not as good as some I've seen here, but I think this is the best one I've ever taken of a Chickadee.

It's a good shot and you better back up. Any chickadee able to pull bark back like that is not to be messed with.

Actually, that happened during a show of strength between this chickadee and a hummingbird. The hummingbird won. The chickadee is staring in amazement.

That is an excellent capture, Gary. Those little active birds are hard to capture, and that shot must have been difficult; and that is a good pose. Well done.

These birds to NOT sit still for very long , do they ?
usually less than 1 second.
