Default Grand Opening

Got some more good ambient light and decided to catch these ladies after they opened up. A gold reflector was used on the first two.

No reflector. Just straight light from the window.

Those are simply stunning, Gary. I enjoyed seeing the difference with the gold reflector - thanks for remembering that some of us asked you to show us your lighting techniques such as that.

Thanks, Ted. And, you're very welcome. It's amazing the difference a simple $3 reflector can make. A few years ago I picked up the Kelby series, "The Digital Photography Book". In it he makes a statement that is obvious yet profound and still the vast majority of photog enthusiasts don't do. He says, "If you want professional-looking images, you have to do what the professionals do.". Some of these things are so simple and easy, yet most folks don't take a few seconds to do them -- like the reflector or a little spritz of water to freshen up the flowers. Why? Because "it's too much bother".

Thanks so much, Lordje. Funny... you're the fourth person in 3 weeks to say that.
