I grew up with Chicago winters - that works for me. I hope you have a great holiday season and new year!

I second that!

Steven, you do understand that that white stuff is snow, right? For many of us, a "winter scene" is not an abstract, coffee table book concept.

I remember it well from my younger days. But as I got older I became allergic to snow. But I enjoy looking at photos of snow as I sit here in 70F weather. LOL

But if you were shoveling it you'd be getting a level of exercise unlike any other you get in Florida, for example like when you're laying back in your lounge chair aiming a camera...

EDIT: sipping a rum drink...

I believe that I've read that most heart attacks in Chigago are caused by people shovelling Snow....I'll take the rum way out...

That tree shot in my yard in my yard from a last years storm. I knew I'd find a use for it.

Well unfortunately I was at that "awkward age" - old enough to shovel snow but too young to drink rum.

On a different note, I thought about you mentioning your Ghillie suit when I heard about Mr. Randy Lee Tenley. Montana State Police said "Alcohol may have been a factor". Gee, 'ya think so? Anyway, I assume you wear yours more responsibly.

Ted

PS: I really like your winter photo.
