Default Cable skiing ..CAF test E3+Battery Grip + 35-100F2

Some of the select pics from testing out the CAF with the E3 + 35-100F2 + BG. The last time I was at the same venue 6months ago I walked away with just a handle full of in focus images.

Camera setup as per CAF testing thread:

1. Surf boards

2. Strapping in ...

3. Crash landing... this ones about 1/5 cropped off the top

4. Take off!

5. Time up

6. Preparation

7. Thumbs up !

8. Slapsh down !

The rest of the gallery is here:

I'm glad I've got the CAF on the E3 to now kind of behave and get a decent keeper rate. I doubt whether its as good as any of the Canikon but its an improvement.

Now I need to get the EC14 or I'm going to hire the 150F2 +EC14.. I'd hire the 300f2.8 but no way I could lug that beastie atm.

Cheers

Nice shots Harj. They look spot-on to me. That looks like fun, but I can see the need for wetsuits because that water looks cold to me. Again, you combined action with good candid people shots, to make this a good series.
