Default Natures Light & Texture

Saw the early morning sun through the trees and tried to capture it. Fleeting chances.

Textured still life, compliments of a Northern Flicker the Stellar's Jay and a hunk of dead wood..

Hey, I really like those photos Ken. They are not only creative shots, but they are well composed and very realistic colors. In fact, the feathers on the drift wood would look good as a print hanging in a den or a rec room. Well done!

I agree with Steven, nice shots. I wonder what caused the color shift on the driftwood? Is it just because of the orange feather?

The sunlight through the trees looks like it should be on some inspirational poster!

I'm thinking I left the WB on auto. Then depending where the camera focused we got the shift. It actually looks somewhere between.

Thanks for the comments guys, they're appreciated.
