Fantastic shots Steven, you did a great job handling the highlights on the great egret.

You are so lucky to have so many animals around your home, I need to travel at least 10 miles to find something moving or flying at this time of the year.

Hi Ken,

I live just 10 minutes of the JFK and Jamaica Bay was one of my favorite spots to shoot BIF but the hurricane "Sandy" destroyed the entire preserve and it is closed.

My options are Oceanside nature Preserve -it is open only for summer- Jones Beach and Nickerson Beach are nice spots also but it is 10 miles far from me, not bad at all but just jealous of Steven that have a National Park in his backyard.
