Default Love Birds

These two really look in love, don't they..?????

Funny how they always look angry.

70-300. Shot at a full 300 (600) F5.6 - 1/100 - ISO 320 - 1 full stop bias.
Hand held and still too far away..

Nice catch Ken, especially considering the distance.

Photographing eagles can be very hit or miss. When they are out by themselves, sometimes they will land in a nearby tree, but they never, ever, build a nest near where I can get a decent shot.

I'm jealous. It's hard enough to get 1 eagle let alone 2 in the same frame. And I do question their happiness. ;-)

Thanks guys.
I've been keeping my eye on that tree for a while then when I saw two of then I took my wife home with the office stuff and shopping and went back. Still there! crawled up a steep bank, deer trail, and through the blackberries. They watched me all the way and must have felt quite safe. Gave me time for a few shots, different settings. upto +2.7 with a couple.

OH yes, This was cropped about 50% too much sky and tree.
