Default Double Parked

Doubled parked at the New Smyrna Beach Airport on Sunday morning before this year's Daytona 500 Race. Photo was taken in the early morning light not long after sunrise, so the light hitting the airships still had that golden glow.

Cool shot! From your subject line, I didn't expect to see a couple of blimps!

Thanks for looking and commenting Marcelo and Mike.

This shot was taken about 7:30 a.m., so the blimps were bathed in the morning "golden hour light" of the sunrise. I liked the look of the blimps glowing in that light, so I pulled off on the side of the road and took a few shots before I continued on to the Daytona 500 race.

(Also notice that the paint scheme and color is slightly different between the two blimps. The one on the left is a newer model, based on their serial numbers.)

Very nice! I like watching them as well. We don't get them often up this way though.

Thank you, Weebee. I guess we all like to watch blimps float around in the sky.

Wow, I think you are right James. What sharp eyes that you have, I did not even notice that.
