Default Striving to increase the local Osprey population

A pair of our neighborhood Ospreys, where it appears that the male is doing his best to increase the number of baby Ospreys.

E-3 And 50-200mm lens.

Pornography....and brilliant photos.. That second shot is special.

Ospreys the original Seahawks are pretty special birds.

Beautiful crisp shots. Subject matter reminds me of the old wildlife TV series Wild America with Marty Stouffer or Wild Kingdom with Marlin Perkins.

Fantastic Steven! I've never seen a bird Osprey in real life.

Thank you very much for looking and commenting Ken, chiPersei, Bob, and Harj.

There are several of the nest poles maintained around our neighborhood, and this one is the only one that I can get halfway close enough to get a somewhat decent shot. I hope she stays there and lays her eggs.

Thank you very much Marcelo. Ospreys are plentiful in my neighborhood and stay here year around. But they are very skilled at staying a long way from my camera. LOL. I usually have much better luck photographing all the other birds except Osprey.

Thank you James; and Ospreys do have piecing looking eyes. We'll have to wait and see if this tryst between the male and female produces any new eggs and chicks.
