Spoke to Oly support about getting the E3 looked at .. so when I can I will be shipping it to them to take a look. Theres no fixed fee for the E3/E5's - pro cameras so it could cost anything from 100-200 or more to repair, thats if it needs to be repaired.

Thx.. we're still learning... the really hard way

Final update on the pics and keeper rate :

Total 1668 pics taken
No of pics in focus and critically sharp - 569
No of OFF pics - 1099

So the keeper rate with my E-3 is 34%. It would have been higher had I used a specific AF or diamond point and aimed for the head when in portait mode.

I think the E5's is going to better as that did get a slightly improved version of the AF and the ability to calibrate your lenses to the body.

The plus point - not having to wade through 100s of all tack sharp pics and then trying to decide which ones to actually work on!

I'll posting a link to a gallery with retouched pics later on during the week .. so a bigger and better selection of pics to see.
