Default London Marathon 2014 Gallery

Here's the gallery for the London Marathon 2014 - its a work in progress so theres only about 1/4 of the pics uploaded.

http://harjtt.smugmug.com/Photograph...on2014/n-NM3vc

From the original 1668 pics taken on the day, I managed to cull that down to a 140+ and I've uploaded some of those 30+ so far.

Last years 2013 gallery is here for comparison:

Looking at the pics from last year, I did better with the wheelchair athletes be quiet a margin, altough it did feel as there were less wheelchair racers this year.

Feel free to leave any CC on the images

Hey Simon/Pascal

Simon, I enjoyed your pics from Snowdonia ... when i looked at them what got me was how effortlessly easy they seemed to be captured and yep there was a lot of familiar faces there as well!

Colourwise.. as their all pp'd from RAW .. the colours are from LR5 - basically setting the WB to 5300K +8 (The E1's setting for Sunny), just slightly clip the shadow and +15 for the lights (Tone curve) and thats it. The rest I'm assuming is down to the SHG and the E3. Sunny WB on my E3 appears to be 4900K .. so I always shoot RAW as I don't trust the AWB and then apply whatever setting Oly uses for the E1's WB values.

I think I've done 60% of the gallery. I wanted to have info for each runner to tag along with the pics so its slowing me down a wee bit.

I'm actually really happy with the images - overall better than last year but I seriously can do without the aggro of the Oly's CAF.

Cheers

Harj

Thanks James .. I thought adding the names to the pics would just help and then when you see the times that they were also running that's been pretty inspiring.
