Can anyone tell me how the noise level is on the E500 when the ISO is boosted.
I've been leaning heavily towards this camera, and want to make sure there are as few limits on it as possible...

The noise situation seems to have been ameliorated somewhat in the E-500 with the additional NR filter (compared to the E-300), but I haven't used the E-500 to know for sure. Full reviews are available on both DPreview and Digital Camera Resource boards. I wrote a message just a week or so ago here about ISO 1600 usability on the E-300; you might want to refer to that thread as well.
