I'd like to know if anyone has been successful in updating the Olympus Master Program on a non-internet connected computer. The computer system that I have dedicated to my music creation/photographic works is not (nor will it ever be) connected to the internet. I like the Oly Master program, and would like to be able to get the program updates onto my other computer. I have emailed Olympus on this matter (twice), and very clearly articulated what my desire was. Each time, though, that they responded it was with an advisory that my E-500 could not be 'Firmware-Updated' via a computer that wasn't connected to the internet. I have already updated my camera's firmware, and just wish to update the "Master software' program (if at all possible).

_________
Blessings,

Nathan

Olympus Studio & Viewer operate that way, but not Master. Guess it's only the pros who have that option.

But even for Studio and Viewer, you still have to have a live internet connection to update the camera's firmware (which I have done via Studio).
