Default 75-300 M. Zuiko and Canon 500D

Too hot this evening to do a lot of extensive shooting at 102 humid degrees, but I did take some time to try it for a few exposures.

Takes a little more effort to set up for each shot. Getting the camera within the working distance, working out the compositions and where you want to work in the zoom range. Unlike using the EX25 tube, the entire range is useable at any distance as long as you are within the 500mm max distance from the subject.

Being in closer, depth of field is always an issue so I was shooting at f11 with the cable release to keep things steady, but the first few images I captured of nothing really speacial have me looking forward to better days and subject matter.

I'm glad your first image was showing the Canon 500D mounted on the lens. I was having a hard time trying to picture the whole assembly.

As for the this first set of images, as can be seen the depth of field is pretty thin. However, the sharpness and clarity is marvelous. Have fun with this new toy of yours. It will be4 great fun to see the results you get when the EP3 arrives.

So you want to be a better photographer? Open your eyes and take a look at what is all around you.
