Default ....bugHuntin with the 35mm

We had a super good change in weather here the past couple days, more than 2 inches rain and now below the 100F mark so off I went to the sunflower field hoping to find some critters.

I wasn't disappointed; the Zuiko FT 35mm MACRO on the P3 was the primary setup with some files from the Zuiko 70-300 sans the EX-25.

.....naked 70-300 @ 133mm

.....70-300 @ 133mm

.....and now the 35mm MACRO Ep-3 in 'M' mode

*** half-a-hopper

....and finally this cute couple, Grass & Hopper

As your photos confirm, Bob, the E-P3 is a dandy little camera. I was very much surprised as to how much more responsive the AF system in the E-P3 was as compared to the E-P2. Even adding the 35mm macro didn't slow it down too much. My E-P2+35mm macro combo is just REALLY SLOOOW.
This isn't a major problem for my flower shooting, but the E-P2 is still slower regardless what lens I put on it.

BTW, nice shots of the critters.

So you want to be a better photographer? Open your eyes and take a look at what is all around you.

Did you try petting the fur on the bee? Nice shots as usual.
