Cleveland art museum with two nieces and one Panasonic 20mm.

Visited my brother this past weekend. We went though the art museum there pretty quickly (we DID have two kids with us after all) but I managed to get some shots. There were some misses, but considering the high ISO I had to use on my older PEN I was really impressed with how sharp some of them came out.

Last one here I thought was going to be my favorite, but I got it home and it wasn't quite as crisp as I would have liked. I still like it though.

I have seen that same look before the security guy is giving you in the last image :)

Sammy, I like the two armor photos the best, well detailed.

Thanks sir! I wanted to get closer to some of the helmets, but I figured the security guys wouldn't enjoy me climbing all over the armor. Maybe I'll have to go back if I ever pick up the Oly 45.

I think my 4/3 35mm Oly macro would do a good job on that and it's much less than the 45mm. The quirk with that lens on a M43 is that if there isn't much contrast it will focus hunt so I usually manual focus that much the same as I did with my lenses in the film SLR days. Not a real problem.

Haha, he was kind of a no-nonsense guy. :)

I wonder if he has a Uzi under that suit coat.:p

Since you mentioned the armor, I'm including a larger copy of the one image. It IS really detailed, and I have to assume this wasn't made for your use by your average knight.

I shot this at ISO800 and of course f/1.7, so I can imagine the detail would have been incredible had I been able to stop it down a bit and bring it to base ISO (the UZI guy would have frowned upon the use of a tripod, haha).

I'm liking this lens a lot and have hardly taken it off of the camera since the day it arrived in the mail.

nice series sammy. I like the isolation you achieved on 1 and 4 and also I really like the statue with the arrow through his arm, well done!
