day at the beach

One of the joys of living near the ocean is that you can take your dog to the beach from Labor Day to Memorial Day, so when like yesterday we get a nice day it is fun to head out to the beach.

I took my E-PL2 with the Lumix 14mm f2.5 and nothing else, not even the VF-2 as I wanted to be able to fit the camera in my pocket, I also didn't want to even consider swapping lenses on the beach.

excited to get out of the car!

this most recent storm (Saturn) washed considerable portions of the beach away leaving many access stairways hanging in the air like this one.

That's a good place to use the 14.

Yes I contemplated bringing the 25 or the 19 but then decided the 14 would be best for the wide openness of the beach.

That lens looks like a pretty nice lens, love the colors, nice detail. Your dog sure does love you doesn't he.

What a sweet-looking puppy dog. My girlfriend had a similar-looking mixed breed a few years ago. That was one smart dog. She liked to play hide and seek, and she always found me. There's got to be an amazing amount of "sniffs" out there for a dog to take in, especially during a low-tide, and your lens selection was definitely appropriate for the place.
