Default A fun review to look at...

Totally unrelated to micro four-thirds I readily admit, but this guy used to do some amazing things when he posted reviews of Panasonic digicams and he's just done something similar with the new, $1,995(!) Leica X2, with the more than very-close to VF-2 EVF-looking eyelevel finder. If you go to the review on his site you'll see he plugged the "Leica" EVF into his OMD and Pen Mini.....and it worked...

Now I have to go see what they are going to charge for the "Leica" version of the VF-2. I imagine it's a mint.

**edit** I just looked..... Gulp..... They want $575 for a VF-2 with the Leica name on it....

I can't believe this thing costs what a Leica M6 cost brand new back in the 1990's..

....I actually have looked to find a 'standard' eye-cup for the Leica EVF, when I first saw the Leica EVF a few months ago. My curiosity was to learn the cost which would likely equal the cost of a VF-2.

I never found the eye-cup and haven't looked to learn the cost for an EP-9 or whatever the Leica nomenclature is for it but I'll bet it costs more than $15.99.

It apparently is a VF-2 according to some websites. Remember that Epson makes the VF-2 for Oly, and it looks like Leica just decided to use that Epson model and have them change the name to Leica.
