Happy Snapping with 50 f2/EC-20 on the E-PL1

(if there is an ad, i don't endorse it)

I'm just playing around with my 50 macro and EC-20 teleconverter on the little Pen. The 50 f2 is a handy little lens that fits the EPL-1 fine with the adapter, but adding the EC-20 makes it a bit large and unbalanced for the tiny camera.

Nothing serious, just snappin' away.

Pics follow this post.

Very nice, the 50mm macro is very nice. Great results with the epl-1 and adapter.

The 50mm f2 is a great lens. So is the 35 macro. The 35 is a better fit for the E-Pen in my opinion because its feather weight. It just feels better holding the camera. You'd be hard pressed to notice a difference in the final image.

Yeah, I like the 35mm 3.5. It is still relatively small with the adapter, and it easy to travel with. Fits my uses for a compact travel camera setup of the epl-1. The 50mm seem a bit sharper then the 35mm open up.

great pics Greg, my favorite of the bunch would have to be the pic of your dog rum, it's something about how the light plays around him a just can't put my finger on.

Thanks. The pic of Rum was taken at high noon and he's standing on the edge of the water, which may have been acting like a bit of a reflector??? It was hazy sun.

Rum is standing on our boat landing to the canal. Under foot is sand, not mud. As they say in real estate... Location, Location, Location:).

Actually, when they get all mudded up while having a good time out in the field, I clean 'em up by giving them a couple retrieves in the canal. They all LOVE that. Seems I encourage bad behavior by rewarding 'em when they do bad:lachen001:

Thanks for the kind words.
