Default High-Magnification Closeups - Tubes, the 40-150/2.8 and 300mm f4

Some of the first of these type images as blooms are just starting to pop everywhere, but my chances to get out with the equipment have been limited.

300mm f4 and the 10mm Kenko extension tube to get closer than the 1.4 meters closest focus distance the 300mm can do on its' own.

Same tube, but with the 40-150mm f2.8..

at 150mm and f2.8..

Also at 150mm and f2.8. These were tiny..

More impressed all the time with DXO Photo Labs ability to handle high-contrast scenes. Nothing fancy here, just testing the waters of high-contrast light to see how well I can work the system of new local adjustments..

......reat results with the tubes. I tried on the tubes and 75-300 right after I bought the 75-300 and liked how it was pretty close to the FT 70-300 which was execellent.

Are your garden images here at Clark Gardens, Weatherford, TX?
