Default .....lazy about it; but still here

....I've been unreal busy the past 6-months dealing with administration of an estate, out-of-state. It has been quite a challenge, never before have I been involved with such a task ... now it is closed and fini. Please no questions.

Anyway I do read the posts here and happy to see some recent activity. I still do quite a lot of photography of city parks nature subjects and I've been kept busy with some family events; about great grandchildren... perhaps I will share some of those happenings soon.

Nov 15 Bonnie and I celebrated our 55th anniversary; now on to another year or 5-hopefully.

For today, Sunday 11/18, I went to my 'Happy Place' with the E-M1.1 + 12-40 f/2.8 PRO lens. Mostly I use the Pen 'F' but the past couple outings I've picked up the old M1.

These images were done this morning in a COLD 44 F solid overcast visit.

Happy anniversary!

I like the "Happy Place" photos. I think I would have more photos of my daily walks if there wasn't an 11 month old puppy pulling me along!

G'day Bob

Always beaut to hear from you - and to catch up with your photos, as they always show us a bit more of your part of the world. I note autumn is coming your way ... it's summer around the corner for us Downunder types, but your colours are also beaut to enjoy, and the Aussie green leaves don't always turn to gold as your do

Hi Bob! I was lazy this past weekend, choosing to do other things rather than get out on Saturday when it was so nice, so seeing you made it out this morning when it was so cold (for us at least), and nice, crisp images to boot.

I've been busy processing a lot of past images with the latest DXO Photo Lab 2. Here's a file from White Sands last May with the E-M1 Mark II and 12-100 I had not previously processed, using the T-Max 100 B&W profile and the Clearview 2 filter for added contrast. This image will be my next large (probably around 30x40) metal print for display at the office.

Hi Bob,
I like the lack of color in the sky of each of your photos. It really makes the colors of the landscape pop.

Greg,
Since you didn't post the original photo it's hard to compare. But I love the finished product. A 30x40 metal print should be stunning.

This actually is the "original". I never processed the raw file in Adobe Camera raw so it was never posted in my online folder of images from the trip.
