Newbie with E-PL1
Hello everyone, hope someone can help me out in picking a Wide angel Lens for my new camera.

I need it to Specifically take Interior Pictures of houses. Quality does not need to be Top notch. Was wondering if something like this on ebay would work?

Would i need adapters for it?
Any other recommendations? I do not want to spend alot of money on the Lens.

Any information would be greatly appreciated .

Thank you

you will not need an adapter for it, as it screws onto the end of the lens. But do not know how good the add on lens is, and weather it will affect metering or auto focus of the camera. You may have to shooting in manual focus.

Right. This is not a standalone lens but rather a wide angle adaptor for the standard 14-42mm kit lens. If you truly don't care about quality, it'll probably work. But if you do not care about quality, why did you get a PEN to begin with?

If you are going to do allot of wide angle shooting. You may want to seriously consider really wide angle lens. There are couple of options but they are all about the same price

the olympus m4/3 9-18mm, nothing else needed
the olympus 11-22mm for dslr with m4/3 adapter
sigma 10-20mm for olympus dslr with the m4/3 adapter

I would not consider the dslr verison of the 9-18 as it is the same price with the adapter.

You obviously decided against the wide angle accessory lens. Having done Real Estate photos myself, my concern would be distortion of the needed straight lines needed for cabinets and the like.
