West Texas with the E-M1 Mark II
Traveled to the Canyon-lands with some horse-riding buddies....I just hiked. A couple of canyons, a 6500 acre ranch, etc. Nice week, good friends, lots of food and, at times, a little too much beverage, LOL.

Carried the E-M1 Mark II, at times with the 12-40 and 40-150mm f2.8's, and at times with the 12-100mm f4 and 7-14mm f2.8.

Moon-rise at sunset..

Water feature while hiking at the ranch..

Palo Duro Canyon, from the "Lighthouse" formation..

Sunrise on Nov 4..

and sunset on the 5th..

Great hiking and nice landscapes on the ranch..

Rock formations at Caprock Canyon..

and a little bit of color..

Love, love, love the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th ones, as well as a couple further down. Great colours!!!

....was thinking of you over the weekend & thought Wyoming was on your tour list. I've never been to Palo Duro, it seems I might should go sometime.

Like Zig, I think you should have just gotten some saddle-sores, you did a LOT of hiking. AND, I love the photos........

Nah, I don’t mess with critters big enough to squash me, LOL...

Thanks. Got someone now putting the bug in my ear to do a photo trip to Iceland next year.

BTW, just downloaded DXO’s latest iteration, Photo Lab, now with several local edit options and other improvements that work just outstanding with Olympus E-M1 Mark II raw files. Spent Saturday evening re-working many files and liking the program more and more.
