Thanks, so I may get a .9 over the point 6. That should give me 3 stops. Or should I go all the way and get the .12 for 4 stops. Also what size is the thread?

The thread size is 46mm. If you can find a set with two or three filters going from 2-6 stops, that would be the ideal. If not, I'd go with 4 stops. I don't have a 3-stop filter but the 2 stop filter I have does not allow me to shoot in bright daylight at f1.7.

well the epl-1 only goes to 1/2000 of a sec. So I may want a 6 then. Think you ep1 goes to 1/4000 of a sec.

Yes, it does but I usually shoot with the G1 because of the EVF. The G1 goes up to 1/4000 also.

I found a b-w 5 stop ND 1.8, do you think that is overkill?

I saw that, but it will not get to me in time, I fly Wednesday night to germany. Spend the night at home, then fly friday to paris. That filter takes 3 day to process. I found a bunch of hoya mc 3 stops. But no 4,
