Which flash did you get for your ep-1?

I was going to buy the FL-14, which matches the camera style and all that but I found it to be too expensive. So, I bought the FL-20, which is more powerful, still very compact and much much cheaper.

Ok, but for the coolness factor the 139 dollar fl-14 is nice. But for 95 dollar and more reach the fl-20 is a much better deal.

Actually, I paid $59 on eBay. With the case and diffuser. I don't care too much for the looks, specially with regards to flash.

Okay, fashion sense hit the family. I traded in the black lens and brought the silver one today. It does make the camera look so much nicer. Now I will have to get the VF-2 in germany to keep nice look of the camera.

kit lens from the epl-1 comes with a plastic mount plate, but if you buy the lens separately it has the metal back like the epl-1/2.

To bad oly does not have a silver telezoom planned.

LOL, I like that one Hards.

There is to much European fashion sense in my family. Style is important. No ugly american tourist mentality here,

shoturtle, i do not know how much you are using your on camera flash with the epl-1, but the olympus rep showed me a neat trick for using it as a bounce flash. after you open the flash take your left index finger & rock the flash straight back till it points straight up. because this flash looked extremely small to me, it will probably only work on very low ceilings but would give a much more pleasing light.
