Default EPL1 + 20mm - excellent flare control

The sun was hitting the lens hard at an angle, perfect condition for a row of flare spots. However, I got none!!!

The last shot does not have anything to do with flare but I like it!

I remember using a 35mm f2 Nikkor that'd flare like crazy pointed at street lamps or anything else, sun included, that was pointed in its' direction.

The Olympus 7-14mm f4 Zuiko is quite the flaring champ too in severe side lighting.

This Lumix 20mm f1.7 is quite impressive in just about every way it could be.

These look very good shooting toward the sun, and the flare control is very good indeed.

Well, that was not good enough for me to keep the lens. Unfortunately, the 20mm on the EPL1 did not work as well as I expected. It over exposed way too much. Nice for low light shooting but bad in high contrast conditions. The lens performed better on the G1 so I think there was a compatibility issue between it and the EPL1.
