Exclamation Minolta-A mount/lens adapter for an EPL-1?

I just aquired a Sigma zoom lens (AF 28-70mm/1:3.5-4.5/Multi Coated). The mount cap says "For Minolta-A"

My question is, will I be able to use this on a Oly EPL-1? And if so, which adapter am I gonna need? Thx for your help in advance!

yes, you can mount it to your epl-1 with the appropriate adapter.

however, i think this lens is electronic aperture control, which means you will not be able to change the aperture on it mounted to you your epl-1.

Thanks Hards80. So there would be no way to change the aperture huh? Well I guess I would have to use it for a fixed aperture only, as I'm only going to use it for some video stuff. Do you know which adapter I would need? Thx again!

P.S. I'm a noob! Lol. Learning fast though.

It will just function at maximum aperture, so that should be fine. so at the low end of the zoom it will be 3.5 and 4.5 at the telephoto end. that should be ok for most video applications.

this adapter should work

Hards80,

Thx again for the help! I have more adapter to hunt down. It's for the:

TOKINA SD 28-70mm 1:35-4.5 LENS (BAYONET TYPE FITTING/All manual)

Do you know which adapter I would use for the EPL-1? Thx again! This is the last one that I will need! Lol.
