Cool C-Micah "Lev 11:45" [Olympus Pen EPL-1 Video Test]

This is my first upload of video taken with my Olympus Pen EPL-1. It was a very windy day and I wasn't filming steady, so the original footage was quite shaky. I used a stabilization plug-in via Final Cut Express (that's why/how the video zooms in and out, but it still worked out great). I'm pleased with the video that I'm getting from the EPL-1, it's doing exactly what I need it to do!

Lens: Kit 14-42mm

Make sure that you watch it in 720P!

When DeShaker, I prefer not to deal with borders, any kind of digital zoom sucks. I crop 16 pixels from each borders and then resize back to 1280x720 (the original size with black bars). The result is most eye pleasing and the process is the fastest. See this:

P.S.

I do have a Tripod, but it was way to windy for it that day (I tried it) I plan on getting a video tripod with a fluid head soon...and the external mic kit is on my list of things to get! Sorry 'bout the wind noise!

Cool. I actually kind of liked the digital zoom for this kind of shot though. it was a lil' fun. Thx for the tip though! Might need it in the future.
