Default Zilker Botanical Gardens, Austin, TX

It's getting toward the end of the season, but there were a few things to grab. We were disappointed that we hadn't made to the park earlier, they really had some nice stuff. All were taken with an Olympus EPL1.

Thanks for looking.

More from Zilker Botanical Gardens. Certainly much better than what I usually find on my dusty bike trail

Those are great. Did you use the kit 14-42mm lens?

Thanks, Tullio. Yes, it's the kit lens. I'm trying to get the knowledge I learn here down pat before I start venturing out to other lenses (that and convincing my wife that I need a $200+ lens when I just bought a $500 camera is going to be difficult ) Thanks for looking.

Very good colors, like painted.

I've decided to live with the kit lens for now, because no other lenses will have enough chances to use to worth the $200+. I wish Oly make a collapsed one like this kit lens but 14-150mm or 40-150 (no locker please). That said, I'll get a 40-150 or 45-200 when I see a good deal.
