Default Just when you thought...

... you'd seen the last of them for the year... POOF! BTW, these are the first shots from the E-P1 on a rainy, dreary day.

....ahhh, the E-P, I can see from these you will be come E-P (especially-partial) to that camera.

I couldn't help myself with the nonsense above, these are really beautiful Gary, I believe the best you've shown us.

Thanks very much, Bob. This camera is going to take a little getting-used-to. I'm not very keen on framing through the LCD unless the camera's on a tripod. These were just snapshots/test shots and I'm sure as I become more familiar with it, the quality will become better. I did think they were post-worthy, though.

Late season bloomers! I need to get to the arboretum myself before it gets any later or that'll be it until March or so.

Definitely "post worthy"....hmm...sounds like a Seinfeld expression.

Beautiful colors. The Pen JPEG engines do very well. I do understand your comments about using the LCD's, especially since they are not exactly the best quality LCD's. I would not have jumped at the E-PL1 body I purchased without the opportunity to pick up the VF-2 to use with it.

Thanks, Greg. I think I see the VF2 down the road. But, my next "investment" will be the MMF-2.

Now that I am home and am looking at these on my own LCD, they look even nicer.

Thanks, Greg. I just tried some sample shots with the FL36R. They were made for each other!

Beautiful flowers Gary.

Looks like the EP-1 is going to serve you well. (So well, in fact, that you should send to me your E-620 and 18-180mm for safekeeping. Just think of how much more room you will have in your camera bag.)

Excellent shots! When I saw you other post I was going to mention the fact that the black background does not do much for me...well, these shots just confirmed that. By blacking the background, you get rid of the bokeh, which can be just as attractive as the main subject itself (like the last shot here).

Thanks so much for your kind offer to help me make room in my bag, Steve! But, seeing that the EP1 is not that big, I have no problem with bag space.

Thanks! To each his own. To me, each style has its own merits.
