Default vf2 or Panasonic 45-200?

OK yall finally bought the epl1 tonight. Got it at best buy because they had it and I didn't want to wait until next week for a delivery. So I can still get either the vf2 or a zoom lens ordered tonight online...which should I get? Can't get both right now, will have to wait a couple weeks and order which ever one I don't order tonight. Which shall it be? Battery is charging now. Thanks!! and Happy New Year to you all!!

you are better off having the VF2 before the 45-200. It will make for a steadier shooting position at the long end of the zoom. At 400mm eq, it help allot to have a more stable shooting position closer to the eye.

While I don't have the Panny 45-200mm, I do have the VF-2 and agree with
Shoturtle. The VF-2 will make a big difference in how you are able to use the camera, compose and frame the shot you're after, and be able to 'see' everything clearly on bright sunny days when the LCD screen becomes almost illegible.

In those situations where manual focus may be required it is essential, IMHO.

All in all, it will make using the E-PL1 a lot more pleasurable.
