Default Problem with EPL1 AVI file

I usually don't shoot video that much and when i do I use my Pana FZ28. Well, yesterday I had to record my son playing the piano for a high school application and I decided to use the EPL1 in HD mode. I downloaded the AVI files but they won't play properly in WMP. The video is way out of sync with the audio (fast audio and slow video). The files play better in Quicktime with a very slight delay. I tried a couple of free programs that claim they sync the two but nothing works. Can anything be done to sync the files? Why are the audio and video out of sync? My old 5mp Sony H1 can record video flawlessly (I should have used it instead).

Is your computer fast enough with a not-to-old graphics card? Try Media Player Classic Homecinema, which I use for all my video including EPL1's AVI, never a single problem.

Well, the file plays almost normal with Quicktime but it hardly plays with WMP. I'd think that if the problem was speed-related, it would not play properly with either software. I will give the player you suggested, a try. Thanks.
