The price I have seem quoted is $499. Don't know if that's MSRP or actual street cost....or if it's even accurate at all either way.

....my rationalization is, if I could afford those meals I would maybe get the lens. The results of the lens do look quite good.

Even if I could afford them, I would not buy them, not even to take pictures of them .

Taking pics of food doesn't do much for me. I'm more for nature, etc.
