Thanks Zig. Here is the scoop. PSE 8 will not open RAW files from the EPL2. Versions 9 and up will and there is no plug in for PSE 8. I did download their DNG RAW converter which converts Oly RAW to a useable RAW file for PSE 8. You have to open the DNG converter, select the files you want to convert and then PSE 8 will recognize them when the files are opened. I would think this converter would also work for other camera models not covered in PSE8. Since the software (PSE8) didn't cost me anything, I may just buy PSE 10. There are a few Ebay stores selling it for 69.95, free shipping. COSTCO has it for 49..95 until 11/27 but you have to be a member to order it. Doing that would bring the price up to over 70 bucks with the membership fee.

Hi James,

Amazed that the printer would include that old a version of Elements.

For what it's worth, Amazon.com Has PSE10 on sale right now for 49.95 w/ free shipping

The guy I bought it from bought it with a camera from B&H. At that time you could get that printer as a bonus for not much money at all. He has had the printer for a year but never took it out of the box so that explains the old version.

Well, congrats on getting a great printer. The Canon Pro9000mkII is a real workhorse. I've had mine for about 18months and in that time it has performed flawlessly.

The printer does a noticeably nicer job compared to my older Canon MP990. I bought the MP990 because it has a film/slide scanner built in that does a great job. I've got tons of slides and negatives and I'd like to digitize some of these when I get some time, likely this winter.

One more image, this one from this past weekend when stopped alongside the road as I drove through the Arbuckle wilderness area in Oklahoma on my way to see my daughter at Vance Air Force base in Enid, Oklahoma, captured with the E-P3 and 45mm f1.8, I just liked the composition of the tree trunks and everything else about the scene.

....this scene color/saturation is as natural as is possible for a photographic image, it looks exactly correct with great detail, sharpness and contrast, very nice.
