Remember that the money represents prior losses from bad investments (or payoffs) dating back to the 1990s that were covered up and not reported. Preliminary indications seem to appear that their medical and imaging divisions were generating profits. So probably current cash flow is sufficient; but we won't know for sure until the next audited financial results.

Yes, and those financials are due by December 14, with a de-listing of their stock if they are not made available by then because November 14 was the initial due date for the report.

With more of an understanding of what was happening back in the 1990's, it's no wonder Olympus just let the OM system slowly die off and never developed much of a 35mm autofocus system like Canon, Nikon, Minolta, Pentax.....every other major traditional SLR maker than them, which put them behind everyone else from the start.
