....yes, I am using Bibble, at a 'release candidate' version to handle PEN '3' RAW and that just may be 'the something' to look into.

PEN data handling for the PEN '3' series RAW was 'quick' to be handled but is missing some referencing in the 'camera, model, lens' listing for correction which leaves the auto-selection boxes empty where as for the FT cameras and lenses referencing all is filled in. I just did not think of that as a possible issue here.

For manual correction I use the PEN '2' series for selections. For the above files I did only cursory conversion there obviously was no auto-correction.

I will remake files 3 & 4 (above) and apply the P-2 manual correction, see what the result is and do the same through the Olympus Master 2.

I am seeing some 'teaser' blogs about an official next release of the next Bibble Pro software coming soon. I've not been on the official Bibble forum for a couple months, I should do that to see what others are talking about.

Thanks for the discussion, I am busy for the next couple days but anxious to look into this, TTYL.

....a quick note, I ran the two files through Olympus Master 2, the result was a much flatter image, it appears the culprit here for auto-correction is Bibble. Gotta run.

Yep, Bibble definitely sounds like another program to add to the list of RAW converters that does not use the embedded distortion correction data, along with RAW Therapee and Lightzone.

.......I am confident Bibble will address it, hopefully with the upcoming official release.

The current 'release candidate' code is just that and one needs to accept what they get with such (I've written a lot of the same and pre-production is usually challenging usage), there will be quite a lot of difference when the official release is done.
