Oh yes......silver.....that's the one for me.

My silver 12mm f2, 45mm f1.8 Zuikos and 7.5mm Rokinon lenses are waiting....impatiently.

Have you noticed the different fake-leather materials used for the silver vs. black models? That silver finish/materials rocks.

....thanks for the link Billy

The carry out cost for the body @ $999.99 is abt $200 down from the P3 + VF-2 and that makes the M5 well priced when compared. Then throw in the enhancement & design at no cost difference and I am on Billy's 'want it' team.

...the different vinyls, wondering why that was done. I finally see a silver model that I like.

I'm now wondering.... with the mLenses AF being super-fast, will FT lens focus improve a bit.

The finder magnification complaint of .92x is now obviously a case of people crying before they see what the deal is. You only have the lower magnification if you use the DSLR viewing experience where the data is all located below the image, meaning the image takes up a smaller space across the frame.

If you choose the finder option like the VF-2 setup....at 4:3 with the image taking up the entire finder and the chosen data to view overlaid, the magnification is the exact same 1.15x as the VF-2.

Looks like a very well designed camera and rugged. I think the price of the body is reasonable for the features and IQ that it has and then throw in the flash which is very nice. It will be interesting to see who gets one first. I know it won't be me.

A link here with video. Olympus rep explains the new camera. Also said the camera won't be available until April. I wonder how many pre-orders came in to dealers today.

I love the silver.

Just out of curiosity, why is Oly using two names for this camera (OM-D on the body but referring to it as the E-M5)? I think they should have dropped the OM-D and keep the E since this is the naming convention used for the PENs.
