You are correct.

Default New m4/3 sensor most like 16MP

The latest info is that the new M4/3 sensor is 16MP.

Isn't it interesting also, that there are current reports that Samsung is interested in an alliance with Oly. Now think back to last summer, when there were rumors that Samsung was offering a 16MP senor to Oly. Be interesting to see what the actual facts are when it comes out next month.

I'm assuming the same sensor as the G3 and GX1, which would be a good thing.

Hopefully it won't be the Foveon sensor. From what I've been hearing/reading, it's not cracked up to what it's advertised to be.

Foveon is something we do need to worry about. That's a Sigma-only deal. Cannot ever see that happening.

The sensor from the G3 and GX1 is exactly what Olympus needs with lenses like the 12-50 f3.5-6.3 and the 75-300mm f4.8-6.7 Micro Zuikos. A much improved ISO 3200 would greatly extend the handhold-ability of those lenses in more limited light other than bright daylight.

Image stabilization is one Pen feature that sorely needs an upgrade. It's not nearly as effective in the micro four-thirds system as it is on the E5 DSLR. I pretty much keep it off all the time unless I am looking at trying to handhold down around 1/15 second or slower.

It will be interesting to see how "OM" they went......and if there's any new technology for improved regular four-thirds lens performance. To be honest, I'm not figuring on it so I won't be disappointed, but it would be a nice surprise.

That OMG ad harkens back to just prior to Olympus introducing the E330 with the *new* feature of live view in a DSLR. They were putting out all sorts of cloaked ads about something special coming out. Then when it happened, it seemed like everyone else was wondering why Olympus would offer such a "useless" feature...
