Now I'm really confused. On the X sync I can only go as low as 1/60. I went to slow sync and I set that at 1/30. Then went back to X sync but I still could go no lower than 1/60. I'm thinking the slow limit sets the low limit for the X sync but evidently not. The flash settings offer many options. Should I set my camera's flash for slow sync to allow the use of the multitude of shutter sync settings or just leave it on Auto and live with 1/60?
Seems like 1/30 would be the best sync for all around flash use.
