Default viltrox 4/3 to micro 4/3 - experiences?

Found this the other day...

http://www.digglove.com/viltrox-olym...pter-ring.html

looks like an interesting option for adding OM lenses to the micro43 camera while keeping AF working.

Has anyone bought one and if so how did it work out for you? reviews I have read elsewhere seem mostly favorable.

Take a look at the specs just below the photo of the adapter. According to those specs, this is a manual focus only adapter.

At least, that's what I'm reading.

The OM system of lenses are all manual focus lenses, so nothing will enable AF of any kind. You'll have to manually focus them on a Pen just like you would if you used them on an OM body.

zig - yeah I see that now ... but the descriptions elsewhere say it does make the connections for AF to work...

anyways.. as Shoturtle pointed out the Panasonic one does the same thing and is about the same $$ and I would feel more comfortable with a name brand, thanks!

Yes, a little bit better, with this one exception..

This lens mount adapter is for Micro Four Third (M 4/3) Lenses to Four Third (4/3) Cameras

Micro four-thirds lenses are not useable on four-thirds cameras. They've obviously got it turned around in this one sentance.
