You are both right, Greg and James. My English - which is not my mothertongue - is not precise enough to describe what i happening. It IS snow falling off the trees (due to slight wind), and the sunshine (remember this is a backlit scene) is coloring the snow yellow.

The closest I've been to Norway is Helsingborg, Sweden back in the late 60's. Took a ferry from Helsingor, Denmark. Very picturesque.

Yeah it would definitely have been picturesque then. But then everywhere in Europe and in the States was 'picturesque' in the 60's. The world lost ist innocence - and its picturesque - late in the 60's...
