shopping spree completed... under $900 kit

So my spending spree is done for the most part and this is the kit I have assembled for my photographic enjoyment and especially for my trip to the grand canyon in April. Tell me what you think - is there something missing? I have a couple UV filters and hoods that came with the lenses so not listing them separately. Overall I think I did okay seeing as my budget was supposed to be around $500 I stayed less than double that ... lol

e-PL2 (factory refurb) with 14-42mm II MSC lens $379.99

Panasonic 14mm f2.5 (new) $180.00

Pansonic 45-200mm mft lens (used) $200.00

Crumpler Four Million Dollar Home $70.00

Remote shutter release $6.99

Sounds like very good buys. I like the charger combo and I'm going to order one of those. Those batteries are listed at 2000ma where the Oly and Pearstone BLS-5 are listed at 1150ma. Mmmmm.

James,

the charger is soo small compared to the OEM one.. it's literally like 3" x 4" x 2"

I like that and I think you will be very happy you chose the EPL2. I sure like mine and looking forward to taking outdoor pics but the weather here in Michigan sure doesn't make you want to feel like going outside to take pics. Where did you buy the PL2 from?

James - I got the camera from buydig - I could have gotten it from adorama for $10 less but I hemmed and hawed too long and they sold out of their refurbished stock. In retrospect I might have been better suited getting the camera from olympus and getting the deal you got on the 40-150mm R lens... probably would have opted for the e-pm1 though since it is only $424 compared to $599 for the e-pl2.. which might have been a bad call as I really like the pop up flash on the e-pl2

I hear ya about the weather - here in New England (southern NH) it has been a bleak and ugly snow-less winter. In a way I don't mind the lack of snow and warmer temps but from an outdoor picture perspective it is really hard to find something with any color to photograph .. at least with the snow it makes things look pristine.

Quick note on the charger that came with the batteries. It does not seem to be able to charge the Olympus battery. The big ugly corded grey one from olympus can charge both the oem and the wasabi batteries. Not a huge deal as really the two wasabi cells become the primary batteries and the olympus becomes the backup of the backup, but figured it was worth mentioning.
