Default rhododendron in bloom

the afternoon light was filtering through the trees setting these ice cream cones of color alive

.......wonderful light, color & composition. These remind me of my own style, I love the presentations, the first would be my favorite of the three.

You did well here and the lenses produced accordingly. Good job!

Thanks bob, that is high praise! I am pleased with the color and the way in which the pen was able to meter the bright flowers and keep the background dark.

point of correction on the first shot in the thread, it was actually taken with the 40mm f1.8, not the 50mm ... easy to confuse these two lenses, more alike then different but both excellent
