I recently looked on the net and there is not a used Leica 25mm to be found. Why would one want to sell it is the obvious answer.

I've thought about selling mine since most of my shooting is in daylight and I can always use the 14mm f2.5 when shooting indoors in poor light. The lens is not as fast as the 25mm but not that slow either.

And there's your answer alright. I can't imagine anyone wanting to sell the 25/1.4. There's a huge backlog of users who would LIKE to buy it, but it stays out of stock and backordered virtually everywhere almost semi-permanently.

I would not doubt one could make money selling it used for more than it costs new-but-never-available, but then you wouldn't have it and would be in that boat with everyone else if you wanted it again.

There's no doubt I can make some money selling mine. The question is, will I regret doing so?

I just checked eBay. There are two 25mm lenses up for sale. One going for $565 + $14.50 s/h BIN and the other (auction-type) going for $470 + $10 s/h with 7 hrs left to go. I'm sure it will go for less than $565 because if anyone is willing to bid higher than $565, might as well buy the BIN one and be done with it. They both look like new.

Leaves me out, I just shot my mad money on the Viltrox adaptor and Oly refurb 35mm macro. Thinking about buying the Oly macro light for 51 bucks. It has good reviews and the price is right. It uses the battery power in the camera so no heavy accessory to lug around. Best be buying another battery with it.

Looked at the promo photo of the 75mm mounted on the OM-D and first thing through my mind was "large mouth bass" And I have not fished in years so don't know where that came from. But really, that is one big opening for gathering the light.
