Default 70-300mm shots, dragonfly and flower

one of the smaller Odonata (dragon/damsel flies) buzzing about on this lovely day was kind enough to stop and pose for me for a little bit.

I believe this to be a dragonfly

I really like dragon flies and these are good examples. There are so many different, I don't know the actual or common names of any but They surely are fun to photograph.

thanks everyone for checking out my pics. I was very pleased at how the 70-300mm did on these.

I also posted these in the wild life section and was told that this one is a Blue Dasher by jjdog2... seems whatever wildlife you post someone will ID it for you in short order
