Hunting for an old farm

One a while, I like to "hunt" for old farms. Since I had the day off, me and a another photographer drove the range roads following an old map I get 3 years ago from a photo outing.

The old farm we found:

A view from the room upstairs:

Some weird piece of wood stuck in some cable in the old shed beside the farm:

Before going there, we stopped at the Elk Island National Park hoping to see some wildlife (we did but from too far away). We were still able to get some good shots...

Holy Cow that looks cold. The Rokinon is a fun, sharp lens.

Hi Greg,

We started the day at -12c (10f) and we came back at around -1c (30f) ... without any wind (thanks God !).

There was a long time since I walked in deep snow (about 10in deep in average) ... so we were pretty tired at the end of the day !
