Default just ordered an Olympus 45mm f1.8, $329!

I just picked up an Olympus 45mm f1.8 factory refurbished (full 1 year warranty) from Cameta's ebay store.

To make this happen I sold my Hexanon 40mm f1.8, Hoya 80-200mm f4 (tokina), jupiter-8 50mm f2.0 (a little sad about this one but always said it was my poor man's substitute for the 45), Olympus 14-42mm II kit lens (never used it anyways), and an adapter which netted me close to $200...

was considering getting one new direct from China ebay for same price or trying to find a used one but when I saw today that Cameta was offering factory refurbished one I knew that was the best option.

Good for Andrew.

I'm sure you're going to enjoy using that lens. It is one that I continue to think about getting. So many toys to buy.... so little money.

I've become a big fan of Cameta and that they extend the Oly refurb 90-day with their own to 1-year is quite a plus too. It seems Cameta is always price competitive and many times the lowest.

If/when I build my m43 lens inventory I will likely do it with refurbs from Cameta or KEH.

I have had my eye on one of these for a while. This will give me a 14/25/45 kit of primes plus two zooms. I will next probably replace the Olympus FT 25 f2.8 with a Panasonic Leica 25 f1.4, I saw they are now priced down to $499 new which is great.

I love the primes but I am torn when I start adding up the prices as to whether I would be better off saving for the Panasonic 12-35mm f2.8 zoom, I think long term one of those mounted on an OM-D you might have a perfect walk around camera lens combo.

I bought my FT 60mm macro from Cameta (refurb) and it looks brand new. Good place to deal with.
